Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model from 11 November 1996. Her debut in a feature film was in a minor part in The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donnevan in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) also play roles. Doody started modeling after being offered by an experienced photographer. This led to an enviable professional career as a model for commercials. Doody stringently avoided glamour and naked work, a rule that she extended to her acting profession. She was cast in a minor role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill when her name was picked by the director of casting. In 2011 she began the second season in the E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. The following year, she was on the show as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way.
